Find out which version is right for you. And what is that version really holds. Photoshop has been around from a decade now and the brilliance of it has never fallen a bit.
Few days back we wrote a article giving the Photoshop CS5 Keyboard Shortcuts, as this was for CS5, the newer version has almost same keyboard shortcuts and you will be able to make-out pretty easily how these shortcuts can save a lot of your time.
Photoshop Elements 11 (Price – $120)
Best for Amateur photographers who want to get the very best from their images on a budget, and those wanting to try their hand at creating some basic digital artwork.
We like the way that switching from Guided editing mode to Expert reveals the edits you’ve made as a series of layer, masks, adjustments and filters, as if you’d made the changes yourself in Expert mode.
We’d like curves, and the ability to create your own Photoshop Actions.
Photoshop CS6 (Price -$699)
Best for Demanding photographers who prefer to take full control of every aspect of the image-editing process, and illustrators who want to create complicated and sophisticated digital art. Despite the hefty price tag, this is the version of Photoshop that we recommend.
We like the ‘content aware’ editing options that help fill in the gaps for you, and the Selective Adjustment Brush in the Camera Raw editor, which enables targeted Raw edits.
We’d Like The rumoured Deblur filter seen in the Sneak Peaks video.
Photoshop CS6 Extended (Price – $999)
Best for Digital artists, illustrators and design professionals. This latest version offers all the editing and compositing capabilities of CS5, plus some additional tools and features for creating 3D art as well as motion-based content.
We like its powerful selection, painting and warping capabilities.
We’d Like its hard to see what more Adobe could include in the package.
I hope you will now be comfortable choosing from the latest version available from Adobe Photoshop products. Even if, you choose a previous version, adobe has great plugin to support the new functionality.
